Tashkent, 2 February 2024 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the US Embassy in Tashkent, proudly hosted a presentation on February 1, 2024, showcasing the ongoing and upcoming US grants for economic development within the region.

The discussions held during the presentation were both substantive and insightful, addressing key organizational aspects tied to the execution of projects aimed at bolstering agribusiness, fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing the business climate, and fortifying water resources management and environmental protection.
Both Deputy Minister Muzaffar Madrakhimov and Director David Hoffman echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts in achieving tangible results.
These grants exemplify the strong and enduring partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States, highlighting the shared commitment to sustainable economic development and environmental stewardship.
Furthermore, participants delved into the expansion of partnerships in Central Asia, with a focus on trade, economic, and energy sectors.

Both parties actively outlined joint tasks and strategic initiatives geared towards maximizing the effectiveness of the aforementioned projects.
