Message from Damián Cordero Torres
Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
On this historic occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it is a profound privilege to extend, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Cuba, our highest compliments and sincerest congratulations to the leadership and citizens of this great nation.
The bilateral relationship between Cuba and Pakistan is anchored in a proud history of unyielding solidarity, mutual trust, and shared principles of sovereignty. The historic cooperation between our two nations—most notably in public health crises and advanced academic development—serves as an exemplary model of South-South cooperation and international partnership.
In an increasingly complex global landscape, Cuba remains resolutely committed to elevating our bilateral engagement. We look forward to reinforcing our diplomatic ties and pursuing deeper institutional synergy across key sectors of mutual interest, thereby translating our historical affinity into concrete, long-term strategic progress.
On this auspicious day of national celebration, I convey our best wishes for the continued peace, unity, and sovereign development of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
