Belgrade, 11 October 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid meets various officials on his visit to Belgrade. Abdulla Shahid is also an elected President of the United Nations General Assembly.
Abdullah Shahid meets the Foreign Minister of Sudan, Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi. He showed gratitude. He congratulated her on the commencement of her term. He commended the positive collaboration between Sudan and UN Integrated Transition Assistance Mission Sudan (UNITAMS).
Maldivian Foreign Minister also had a meeting with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah. This was the third meeting this year of the Male and Kuwait city. This reflects a close and solid partnership between Kuwait and Maldives.
Abdullah Shahid meets with UN Resident Coordinator for Serbia, Françoise Jacob. He was pleased to hear that the UN in Serbia and its partners are working closely with the Serbian Government to address the development challenges. They are working together to achieve all the sustainable developmental goals.
