Malé, 17 February 2024 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer sends greetings to the Foreign Minister of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Lithuania.
Minister Zameer expressed his delight in extending the message of felicitations to the esteemed Lithuanian government and its citizens on this significant day. The message emphasized the shared commitment to fostering and nurturing the amicable relations between the Republic of Maldives and Lithuania.
“I am pleased to extend warm greetings and good wishes to the government, and the people of Lithuania on the jubilant occasion of the Day of Restoration of the Lithuanian State”, the message said.
Furthermore, Minister Zameer expressed his hopes for establishing warm relations between the two states in future. “It is my sincere hope that the friendly relations that exist between our two countries will further strengthen in the years ahead”, he said.

Additionally, Minister Moosa Zameer expressed optimism for strengthening the future bilateral relations with Lithuania. “I wish the Government and the people of Lithuania progress and prosperity”, he said.
In the last, Minister Moosa Zameer conveyed heartfelt well-wishes to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, expressing genuine concern for his good health and well-being. “Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and the assurances of my highest consideration”, he concluded.
