Islamabad (TDI): Malaysia’s Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Thursday.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif greeted him at the main entrance, as reported by local media.
The national anthems of both nations were played, followed by a guard of honour inspection, which featured a distinguished contingent from the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif introduced the Malaysian Prime Minister to his cabinet members, while PM Anwar Ibrahim introduced his delegation to Sharif.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim planted a sapling at the Prime Minister House.

He called for collaborative efforts to create a brighter future for both Pakistan and Malaysia.

Earlier, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday for a three-day official visit, marking a significant moment in the diplomatic relations between the two nations.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation, he was greeted with a ceremonial 21-cannon salute upon his arrival in Islamabad.
