Islamabad (TDI): Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday, state-run broadcaster, Radio Pakistan has reported.
The Malaysian leader is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Malaysian Pm will be accompanied by a high-level delegation and will hold talks with Pakistani leaders for investments.
Talks on trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts are on agenda.

The two sides will discuss as how to further strengthen Pakistan-Malaysia relations and enhance their bilateral engagement in the diverse fields.
His meetings with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other leaders is scheduled. The two sides will also hold detail discussion on regional and global issues besides talks on the bilateral ties.

Hot issues including Kashmir, Palestine and regional situation are expected to be discussed too as the two countries share views and interest in the regional developments.
Signing several memorandum of understandings (MoUs) and some agreements are also expected.
The Malaysian premier will conclude his visit to Pakistan on Friday.
This will be the first visit by a Malaysian top leader since 2019 when former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad visited Pakistan.
The visit underscores the growing ties between Pakistan and Malaysia, particularly in areas of economic cooperation and shared diplomatic priorities.
Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy strong bilateral ties anchored in history, culture and faith.
