Kuala Lumpur, 21 September 2021 (TDI): Wisma Putra, the Foreign Ministry of Malaysia, extended its heartiest congratulations to Belize on the happiest occasion of its independence day. The Foreign Ministry of Malaysia took to Twitter and congratulated Belize on its independence day and also wrote that the Ambassador to Mexico is simultaneously accredited to Belize.

This is the 40th independence day of Belize since its emergence on the map of the world. Each year on 21st September, Belize celebrates its Independence Day and it is officially declared a public holiday. Belize got its independence from Britain in 1981. Since then, started its diplomatic relations with other countries.
