Antananarivo, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Franck Riester, the Minister Delegate of Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, signed two sustainable and innovative agreements with Andry Rajoelina, the President of the Republic of Madagascar, to foster growth in the region.
Both the French Minister and the President of Madagascar announced the ratification of two development projects between the Government of Madagascar and France, calling it the advancing economic cooperation between France and Madagascar.
The agreements were signed to construct a hydroelectric power station that will guarantee power supply to the deprived region of Madagascar to help them grow and flourish for a better future of the region.
The Second project will equip the capital Antananarivo with public cable transport for better and convenient traveling. The Government of France is financing both of the projects as a goodwill gesture towards the people and government of Madagascar and for building good economic terms with the East African Nation.
