New York, 25 September 2021(TDI): Luxembourg has appreciated United Nations for organizing an event on ‘Comprehensive Justice For Syria’.
The event was aided by Germany, Netherlands, Qatar, and United States. The event gave recognition to the civil society of Syria by letting them voice their perspectives and demands. The members of the civil society were heard by the United Nations and their opinions were voiced at a global forum.
Luxembourg has thanked the members who aided in this event. Luxembourg has stated that civil society plays a fundamental role in determining the fate of their country. It is imperative that their opinions are heard at the United Nations.
Luxembourg has supported the efforts of the United States, and NATO, in trying to establish peace in Syria and condemned Human Rights violations by the Assad regime.
