Libyan Foreign Minister in Egypt


Cairo:  June 20, 2021 (TDI):  Libya’s Foreign Minister Mrs. Naglaa Al-Manqoush met his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on Saturday in Cairo.

Both the ministers discussed the methods and areas to increase bilateral cooperation among Libya and Egypt. Both the leaders also discussed the prospects and preparations for the Berlin 2 conference. They also discussed methods to achieve regional security, stability, and development.

The Libyan FM emphasized the historical relations between Egypt and Libya and reaffirmed the appeal for the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli and the consulate in Benghazi to be opened, as well as ambassadors to be appointed between the two nations
