Cairo, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Mohamed Abdelali Mesbah, Libya’s embassy Charge d’Affaire to Cairo, and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla Al-Mangoush have exchanged dialogues related to passport provision to Libyan citizens, from Egypt, on Wednesday.  Mohamed Abdelali Mesbah was presented with 250 new passports in readiness for their distribution to Egyptian nationals.

According to an Embassy statement, this is in keeping with Libya’s Government of National Unity (GNU) commitment to improving services to Libyan people. It further stated that this is under the Foreign Affairs Minister Najla Al-Mangoush to grant passports to Libyan residents living abroad.  Libya and Egypt inked 13 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) for country rebuilding earlier this month, worth 147 billion Libyan Dinars, which equals 33 billion US dollars.

Under these memoranda, both countries have exchanged bilateral national interests in various fields to maintain cooperation and economic relations.
