Bishkek, 28 October 2021 (TDI): The second Kyrgyz-Pakistani Business Forum was conducted in Bishkek. The topic was: “Corridors of Connectivity: Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the Age of Socio-Economic Integration”.
This ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, Ulanbek Totuiaev. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan, Sardar Azhar Tariq along with the Chairman of Lahore University, Awais Raoof. Moreover the Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Muhammad Afzal Dhandla was also present along with the other Officials. All these participants made a speech at the opening of the forum.

The event is organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan, in partnership with the University of Lahore. This forum is conducted to promote economic diplomacy between Bishkek and Islamabad.
The purpose of this forum is to familiarize the Pakistani business delegation with the investment, trade, and economic opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic. This forum will set an impetus to establish targeted contacts. it will help to develop a partner network through B2B meetings between representatives of the business community of two states. The forum is also attended by representatives of large Pakistani companies such as Marhaba Laboratories, FM Foods, Jan Plastic Industry, Bahria Town, HAC Agri, Miles Textile, Agha Textiles, Revco Pharma, Spartans Global (Pvt) Ltd, as well as representatives of the business circles of Kyrgyzstan.
A panel discussion is also organized during the session. At the end of the event, business representatives of two countries were presented with thematic platforms (pharmaceuticals and medicine, information technologies, agriculture, textiles, and trade) to establish business contacts between the business circles of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
