Kyrgyz Foreign Minister received Azerbaijani Ambassador

Bishkek, 4 November 2021 (TDI): Kyrgyz Foreign Minister, Ruslan Kazakbayev received copies of the Credentials from the Azerbaijani Ambassador,  Latif Gandilov.

Minister Kazakbayev congratulated Ambassador Gandilov on his appointment. He wished him success in his new post. It was noted that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are fraternal countries, in connection with which the importance of taking measures to raise the level of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations to a strategic partnership was noted.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields. Along with the expansion of the legal framework. Moreover the schedule of contacts at high and highest levels. As well as issues of interaction within the framework of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States.

Minister Kazakbayev noted the importance of holding the 4th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Ambassador Gandilov informed about the agreement of the Azerbaijani side on the establishment of a Joint Investment Fund. Moreover, the location of the fund’s headquarters is in Bishkek. Both sides agreed to hold cultural events in Bishkek and Baku to strengthen people-to-people contact.
