Kuwait, 15 November 2021 (TDI): Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, met with Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary-Special General’s Envoy to Yemen. They met during Grundberg’s official visit to the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, they addressed Yemen’s recent events. International efforts to find a political solution to Yemen’s issue were also discussed.
Kuwait’s Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Kuwaiti government’s commitment to Yemen’s unity and stability. To restore security and safety to its territory, emphasizing Kuwait’s support for international efforts to end the Yemen war. This is based on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Yemen peace proposal.
