Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Met his Somalian Counterpart

Kuwait City, 20 October 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, met with Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Abdirizak in Kuwait. The officials discussed ways to enhance their bilateral cooperation in different areas.

The meeting focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between Somalia and Kuwait, where the two leaders exchanged views on the major developments happening in regional and international forums. They also discussed Kuwait’s upcoming International Conference to Support the Education Sector in Somalia next year.

While discussing the Conference’s plan with his Somalian counterpart, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Al-Sabah reiterated his willingness to improve educational support efforts in Somalia and take substantial measures to eradicate illiteracy from the country.
