Islamabad, June 27, 2021 (TDI) — UNDP Pakistan Resident Representative Knut Ostby met the President of Pakistan Arif Alivi along with Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim. They discussed the launching of Sustainable Developmental Goals Bootcamps to safeguard and educate people about ecosystem preservation. The partnership is of special significance as it includes social entrepreneurship for youth.
UN’s SDG program lays the important standards for preserving ecosystems, preventing global warming and environmental degradation. According to Jazz, the 800 participants will take place in the Bootcamp in Punjba, Sindh, Kyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Kashmir/GB. One of the key elements would be focussing on solutions to problems posed by the pandemic.
The program demonstrates the role youth entrepreneurship can play in addressing social, political, and environmental issues with the help of UNDP.
