King Salman Relief Centre launches Medical Campaign to Combat Blindness


4 June 2021- Karachi-TDI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (Ksrelief) has provided humanitarian and development aid to more than 68 countries over four continents. With international, regional, and local partners in place in recipient countries to implement our programs and initiatives, we have delivered assistance to millions of beneficiaries worldwide.
Ksrelief working in all provinces of Pakistan since 2005 to help mitigate the sufferings of affected people hit by natural calamities. Ksrelief completed 120 different projects like Camp Coordination, Food security, Education, Health, and Water worth more than US$ 124 million.
King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (Ksrelief) launched a voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and the diseases that Cause it; in collaboration with Al- Basar International Foundation. Almost 30,000 patients will be examined, 2,400 surgeries will be performed and 6,000 glasses for weak eyesight will be distributed free of cost within a month from this campaign in district Kandiaro, Shikarpur, and Karachi of Province Sindh and the people of district Kalat and Kharan in Baluchistan.
During the last volunteer medical campaign to combat blindness in Pakistan year 2020; ksrelief completed more than 2500 eye surgeries and thousands of people benefited from free eye checkup, treatment, and medication.
This project comes under the umbrella of humanitarian projects by the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to assist the most vulnerable.
