London, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Manoah Esipisu, Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK, congratulated Liz Truss for her appointment as Commonwealth and Development Secretary.
Kenya and the UK enjoy close ties in the areas of diplomacy, trade, defense, and security.
The High Commissioner of Kenya to the UK quoted that the Kenyan government will work with the newly appointed secretary for deepening strategic partnerships. Kenyan and the UK’s ties are based on five pillars of bilateral relations, including mutual prosperity, security, safety, sustained development, and climate change.
The Commonwealth ensures international cooperation, especially among member countries. With the collaboration of the Commonwealth, the government of Kenya will to promotes development, peace, and democracy among the commonwealth nations.
