Bridgetown, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Government of Kenya and Barbados reached terms for three agreements of mutual cooperation, development, and strategic partnership.
On his visit to Barbados, the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta signed three agreements with the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley.
In the presence of the President of Kenya and Barbadian Prime Minister, the agreements were ratified from Kenyan side by the Kenyan Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Raychelle Omamo.
Kenya and Barbados have signed three agreements:
Trade and Investment; Air Service Agreement; and Development of the National Botanical Gardens of Barbados. The First agreement was reached for mutual cooperation in the field of trade and investment. The second document brought into account Air Service Agreement and the last agreement included the Development of the National Botanical Gardens of Barbados.
Kenya and Barbados share cordial relations and believes in enhancing their mutual cooperation under these newly signed agreements of mutual cooperation.
