Nur Sultan, 31 August 2021 (TDI): On 30th August Kazakhstan marks its constitution day. This day is celebrated as an official public holiday in Kazakhstan. In 1995, when people of Kazakhstan approved the new constitution through a national referendum. This is a historic day in the national ethos of Kazakhstan when the country moved towards establishing of State of Kazakhstan. It was several years after the independence of Kazakhstan from 1991 till 1995 when the basic law of the country was approved by the parliament. On this day, there is national celebrations across the country with official ceremonies and public festivities including concerts and exhibitions.
