Astana, 29 June 2024 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a ceremonial meeting in honour of the eve of the Diplomatic Service Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an annual celebration that takes place on July 2.
The event included distinguished veterans of the diplomatic service alongside representatives from the Presidential Administration and the Government Office.
Additionally, employees from the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan attended, contributing to the occasion’s significance.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu extended heartfelt congratulations to the staff of the Foreign Ministry on the occasion of their professional holiday.
Furthermore, he highlighted that their extensive knowledge, coupled with their life and professional experiences, enables diplomats to work diligently and effectively towards the prosperity and growth of our state.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “Kazakhstan is currently at the center of regional and global processes. Our country, as a state with great international authority and regional influence, is overcoming new frontiers of its development. This is, among other things, the result of the daily, painstaking work of Kazakh diplomats.”
In his speech, he also commended the tireless and selfless efforts of the Ministry’s staff in executing the foreign policy agenda set forth by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Additionally, he emphasized that their dedication and hard work are instrumental in advancing the nation’s diplomatic objectives and maintaining its esteemed position on the global stage.
Several veterans and diplomats received prestigious state awards to commemorate Diplomatic Service Day, while dedicated department employees were recognized with advancements in their diplomatic ranks.
