During the meeting, both sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of defense and military education, as well as the development of bilateral relations.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan considers Pakistan an important partner in South Asia. He noted the positive dynamics in bilateral relations.
According to the President, both sides have significant potential to strengthen economic ties, including in trade, transport, and logistics.
In turn, General Asim Munir conveyed greetings to the Head of State from Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.
The Chief of Army Staff highlighted the positive trend in cooperation between the defense agencies of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
The interlocutors underlined the importance of giving additional impetus to the development of cooperation and ensuring the full realization of existing opportunities across various sectors of mutual interest.
