Kazakh Envoy Strengthens Legal Ties in Visit to IHCBA

Islamabad (TDI): Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin on Friday visited the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA), marking a major step towards strengthening legal and professional relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The envoy was warmly welcomed by President IHCBA Wajid Gillani, Chaudhary Manzoor Ahmad Jajja, Secretary, Zaildar Ahsan Shah, Chairman of the International Relations Committee, Murtaza Khan, Vice Chairman of the International Relations Committee, Fahad Chaudhary, Safeer Shah and Tajammal Hussain Latti, members of the International Relations Committee along with the full cabinet of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association.

In his welcome speech, President Wajid Gillani highlighted Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations, underlining the deep-rooted cultural, historical, and religious bonds that bind the two countries.

Ambassador Kistafin underscore major recent developments that reflect the strengthening relationship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.

He mentioned the historic visit of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir to Astana earlier this year, the successful thirteenth Session of the Pakistan–Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission held in Islamabad, and the Pakistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum organized in Karachi.

He said these events demonstrate the commitment of both countries to work together across different fields.
