Over the years, Kazakhstan has become an increasingly popular study destination among Pakistani students, especially those keen in medical education and technical fields.
Medical universities of Kazakhstan are the most popular among Pakistani students. Affordable living costs and tuition fee are the prime reasons why the country is an attractive option for students who cannot afford expensive study and stay in European countries.
An estimate suggests the number of Pakistani students in Kazakhstan to be somewhere between 1500-2000. While this is a modest number, the Education Fair being organized by Kazakhstan’s Embassy is still very relevant and important.

Educational fairs become an important source of first-hand information for students and their parents. Even in the age of internet, it is hard to downplay the role of in-person educational exhibitions.
The bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan are friendly and cordial. This makes the travel and living experience smooth for Pakistani students.
Cultural similarities, common religion, and semblances in cuisine are other reasons why more and more Pakistani students choose to travel to Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries for study.
