Islamabad, 17 September 2021 (TDI): The Board Member of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Zahid Latif Khan spoke with the Representatives of Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) via video conference. This meeting was held virtually in collaboration with the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan. Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin was also present in the meeting.
The Representatives from AIFC informed the Pakistani side about its economic activities. They also elaborated on the institutions working in Astana and the opportunities for business and trade activity.
Concluding the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain a regular dialogue and exchange of information. This dialogue can contribute to sustainable economic development. It will provide a way forward for economic cooperation between Islamabad and Astana.
