Dubai (TDI): Pakistan’s Consul General in the United Arab Emirates, Hussain Muhammad, said on Sunday that Kashmir Black Day serves as a reminder of the unresolved Kashmir dispute and unfulfilled promises outlined in UN Security Council resolutions.
Addressing a gathering at the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai, attended by members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities, Hussain emphasized that the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have endured hardship for over seven decades.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to providing moral, diplomatic, and political support to Kashmir’s struggle for self-determination.
The Consul General urged young people to utilize digital platforms to bring global attention to the Kashmir cause, stressing, “In today’s digital age, it is crucial for our youth to raise the Kashmir issue internationally so the world remains aware of the continued struggle of the Kashmiri people.”

The event included readings of messages from Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister, reiterating Pakistan’s dedication to the Kashmiri cause.
A special documentary on the ongoing hardships faced by the people of IIOJK was also screened.

Kashmiri community representatives expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support, thanking the government and citizens for standing in solidarity with the Kashmiris in their pursuit of self-determination.
