Jordanian Prime Minister Met Canadian Foreign Minister

Jordan: July 01, 2021 – (TDI):  Marc Garneau, the Foreign Minister of Canada met the Prime Minister of Jordan, Bisher Al-Khasawneh, and the Minister of Foreign affairs of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, while on a visit to the Middle East. in this meeting, the Canadian minister reaffirmed Canada’s determination to continue the friendly relationship with Jordan, to bring peace, to secure, and to promote development in the region. He also noted the good trade relations between both countries. He applauded Jordan for its efforts to host the refugees. In this regard, he shed light on Canada’s efforts in supporting the refugees in the Middle East via the “Middle East engagement strategy”. The officials expressed their commitment to work hard to bring peace to the region.
