Jam Kamal Signs Protocol at Pakistan-Iraq JMC

Baghdad (TDI): Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan on Tuesday attended the 9th Session of the Pakistan-Iraq JMC (Joint Ministerial Commission) in Baghdad.

The minister co-chaired the discussions and signed a protocol aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations.

The JMC is aimed at improving economic, trade, and cultural relations between the two countries.

During the session, the two sides signed key agreements, including workforce employment between Pakistan and Iraq, as well as the promotion of religious tourism.

During the signing, Jam Kamal stressed that Pakistan was committed to holding closer ties with Iraq, and hoped that the agreement would prove to be a roadmap for shared goals.

He urged Iraq to ease visa restrictions for Pakistani businesspeople and highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to attract foreign investment.

Minister Jam Kamal Khan expressed hope for progress in trade, investment, and cultural exchange, inviting Iraq to the 10th JMC session in Pakistan to review progress and plan future steps.

Jam Kamal Khan thanked Iraqi leadership for its hospitality and hoped for a prosperous future.
