They also visited the offices of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), and International Labor Organization.

The participants of IYDS learn from interactive sessions with career diplomats, foreign ambassadors, country representatives of the United Nations and its various member agencies; during visits that are curated to impart a sound understanding of how diplomacy works.

IPDS organizes the Young Diplomats School every year to support public diplomacy outreach of the diplomatic missions of various countries based in Pakistan. This program allows embassies to interact with Pakistani professionals and young students from various regions of the country and vice versa.
