Jeddah, 10 August 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia confirmed on Twitter that local pilgrims between the ages of 12 and 18 can get permission for Umrah after receiving two doses of vaccinations. The ministry announced the news after the opening of the Umrah season in 2021 on August 10th. Almost 13,000 Umrah permits were issued to this age group to execute Umrah and visit the Prophet’s mosque. Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, stated the Umrah permit was issued through the Eatmarna and Tawakkalna apps, which included an integrated system of services and preventive measures.
