Gaza (TDI): At least 16 Palestinians, including five women and four children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials reported on Monday.
In the densely populated Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, an airstrike early Monday reduced a home to rubble, killing at least 10 people. Among the dead were four women and two children.
Awda Hospital, where the bodies were brought, confirmed the toll, adding that 13 others were wounded.
Hospital records indicated that a mother, her child, and five of her siblings were among the deceased.
In a separate incident, another strike on a home in Gaza City resulted in six more fatalities, including a woman and two children, according to the Civil Defense, the first responders under the Hamas-run government.
The Israeli refrain from commenting on specific strikes, which frequently result in civilian casualties.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that over 41,000 Palestinians have been killed since the conflict began following Hamas’ attack on October 7, nearly a year ago.
The ministry’s count does not differentiate between fighters and civilians but notes that slightly more than half of those killed have been women and children.
In contrast, Israel claims that it has killed over 17,000 militants, though it has not provided specific evidence to support this figure.
