Gaza, 13 October 2023 (TDI): According to the latest update shared by the Foreign Ministry of Palestine, BBC investigations revealed that Israel bombed the locations that were declared “safe” for the displacement of Gaza residents.
The longstanding dispute between Israel and Palestine took a perilous turn, with the recent escalation marking one of the most substantial and deadly confrontations in decades.
In the early hours of Saturday, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas launched ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Storm’ against Israel. This attack involved coordinated actions, including infiltrations at multiple points and a barrage of missiles targeting Israel.
This development comes amidst escalating tensions over the Al-Aqsa Mosque and ongoing concerns about the Israeli occupation.
Presently, the humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire, with no power, water, or fuel, and food running dangerously low after the blockade imposed by Israel. The situation is fast becoming untenable.
Israel, in a sheer violation of international law and international humanitarian law, is also preparing its ground push into Gaza and has warned anyone in the northern portion of the strip to evacuate.
