Israel Attacks Hezbollah in Lebanon as Panic Sustains Across Gulf and Middle East

Beirut (TDI): Israel launched attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon early Monday, saying it did so in response to rockets launched by Hezbollah to avenge the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

This renewed trading of attacks between Hezbollah and Israel disrupts a fragile truce that was holding for about a year. Meanwhile US and Israel continue attacking Iran, and blasts were heard again in countries across the Gulf which host US bases.

Three US soldiers died in an Iranian strike at a base in Kuwait, to which Trump has responded by saying there will be more casualties as war rages on.

Residents in Beirut woke up to the sounds of a dozen of blasts early morning on Monday. People in the surrounding areas started fleeing for safety.

An Israeli military spokesperson issued evacuation orders for 55 different villages and towns across Lebanon, asking people to get at least 1,000 meters away from them as they are near “Hezbollah operatives and facilities.”
