Islamabad (TDI): The School of Dalton International (SDI) hosted an open house at its specially constructed campus in F-11/3, Islamabad, to an eager audience of parents, kids, teachers, and dignitaries.
Prominent figures from Islamabad’s education sector, as well as Jamshaid Sultan, producer & director at PTV, and Syed Nafasat Raza, member of engineering at the Capital Development Authority (CDA), graced the occasion.
School of Dalton International, which was established on the internationally recognized Dalton Plan, is leading the way in Pakistan in a revolutionary method of early and primary education.
The Dalton model offers an enhanced learning environment based on global best practices by balancing discipline and independence while fostering in kids a sense of accountability, teamwork, and creativity.
“Every child deserves an education that inspires independent thinking, nurtures curiosity, and empowers them to navigate the world with confidence and compassion,” said founder Itrat Rubab Haider, a seasoned educationist with over 26 years of leadership experience.
The occasion also included SDI Advising, the school’s specialized division for youth leadership development and college readiness, which provides students with individualized academic counseling, resume assistance, exposure to real-world initiatives, and university admissions coaching.

Visitors praised the school’s well-considered curriculum, lively atmosphere, and the smooth transition between academic, extracurricular, and leadership development courses. For its young guests, the open house also included interactive activities that promoted happy learning via music and play.

The internationally recognized Dalton Plan, an educational concept created to foster student autonomy, accountability, and creativity, served as the foundation for Pakistan’s first school, the School of Dalton International.
In addition to providing daycare services to pupils in Grade 5, SDI also has an internal higher education and college counseling division called SDI Advising, which helps students get into prestigious international universities.
A group of internationally trained teachers who are dedicated to developing self-assured, self-sufficient, and globally literate students run the school.
