Baghdad, 29 October 2021 (TDI): The Deputy Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences, Ihsan Allawi, met the Australian Chargé d’Affairs, Glenn Elson. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad. Both sides covered the issues of common interests in the International Organization and multiple ways of cooperation and collaboration between the two countries.
The concern of the issue was on the environmental field and the region of assistance in the domain of renewable energies and climate plans. Australia and Iraq cooperated and wished sideways the affirmation of the future.
Additionally, they talked over the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Climate Change Agreement (COP26) and considered the importance of the event that will happen next month in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
