New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iran, Amir Abdollahian met the President of Iraq, Barham Salih on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly 76th session held in New York.
The meeting included talks on bilateral relations. They also talked about various hurdles faced in their mutual cooperation. The Iranian Foreign Minister put light on the strategic partnership of Tehran-Baghdad. He also mentioned that Iran is willing to enhance its bilateral relations with Iraq in all fields.
They also discussed the various matters of common interest. The meeting also discussed various regional and international issues.
