Iran Will Respond 'With Authority' & Decisively: Foreign Ministry

Tehran (TDI): War rages on in the Middle East since the United States and Israel launched joint attacks on Iran, Saturday morning. In the latest statement, the Foreign Ministry of Iran said the country did “everything necessary” to prevent war.

It said now Tehran will respond “with authority” and that its response will be “decisive and determining and will make the aggressors regret their criminal act.”

The statement comes as Iran has already retaliated to the US-Israel attacks in a massive streak of missiles that attacked Israel as well countries across the region that host US military assets.

The statement acknowledged that Saturday morning attacks targeted “defense infrastructures, and civilian sites in various cities of our country.”

Referring to the negotiations that were ongoing between Iran and the United States, the statement also said that Iran is ready for defense.

“Now is the time to defend the homeland and confront the enemy’s military aggression. Just as we were ready for negotiations, we have been more prepared than ever for defense.”
