Iranian Foreign Minister met with his Turkish Counterpart

New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly 76th session, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iran, Amir Abdollahian held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, at the Turkish House.

The meeting evaluated the bilateral relations between both countries. They also conversed upon the various obstacles faced in the way of effective cooperation. Both talked about the ways to enhance the mutual cooperation between both countries. The officials also talked about the various regional and international issues.

The meeting included discussions on the developments in Syria and Afghanistan.
