The Indonesian Embassy played a vital role in facilitating MODENA’s business visit to Lahore, where the Vice President of the company, Michael Jizhar, met with potential partners and introduced them to the line of MODENA’s productions.

He also expressed a keen interest in investing in Pakistan with local partners.

Jizhar expressed his excitement about the prospects of introducing Indonesia’s most popular brand of home appliances technology to the vast Pakistani market.

He highlighted that Pakistan’s home appliances industry is growing rapidly and has already set an output value of $1.1 billion, with tremendous potential for further growth.

MODENA, which occupies 71 percent of the market share in Indonesia, is well-suited to the Pakistani market. By offering high-quality products at competitive prices, MODENA can fill the gap in the Pakistani market.

Ambassador Tugio lauded MODENA’s decision to expand its global presence to South Asia by building investment with local partners in Pakistan. He emphasized Pakistan’s importance as a gateway to the wider region in Central Asia and beyond.

The envoy also pointed out the cultural similarities between Indonesia and Pakistan, including their shared love for certain cuisines that use spices in cooking.

MODENA was established in 1960 and has since become one of the most prominent producers of freestanding cookers in Italy.

The company has spread its wings to many countries, including the UAE and China, by providing unique and profound products, such as the world’s strongest freezer and isothermal super alloy burner.
