Indonesian Ambassador met with Delegation of Pencak Silat Federation

7 June 2021 (TDI): The Indonesian Ambassador Adam M. Tugio met the Delegation of Pencak Silat Federation. The purpose behind this meeting was the advancement of the Pencak Silat in Pakistan and further collaboration regarding upcoming projects between the Pakistan Pencak Silat Federation.

The Pakistan Pencak Silat Federation is a member federation of the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT) that is assigned with the duty to teach Pencak Silat, an umbrella term for Indonesian Martial Arts, to willing athletes in Pakistan. To elaborate further, Pencak Silat officially became part of the Punjab Martial Arts Games in 2020. For the promotion of Pencak Silat, Championships are organized all over Pakistan for athletes of all age groups.

Ambassador Adam M. Tugio expressed his gratitude and eagerness for the maintenance of harmonious relations between Pakistan and Indonesia through the endorsement of Paksif and building sports-related cooperation with partners.
