9 June 2021: Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Adam Mulawaram Tugio met with a delegation from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in the Embassy of Indonesia in Islamabad. The meeting was held in an effort to ensure the progression of trade and business cooperation between the two countries. The main agenda discussed the framework that would serve to maximize efforts to advance their trade relations. In addition, they elaborated the potential for further cooperation of the two countries in other sectors such as tourism and other people-to-people connectivity sectors. It was acknowledged that amicable relations between the two countries would prove to be beneficial for both of them in the long term and that both are determined to ensure the maintenance of these good relations. On the occasion, the Indonesian Ambassador also extended an invitation to the LCCI to attend the inauguration of the launching of the Indonesia-Pakistan digital trade portal which is expected to be held in Lahore in July 2021.
