Hanoi, 31 August 2021 (TDI): Indian Naval Ship Airavat, a Landing Ship Tank, arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on August 30 with COVID-19 relief aid to Vietnam. The ship carried 100 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen in containers and 300 oxygen concentrators.
It is a commitment to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam. The relations between the two countries elevated to the level of Strategic Partnership during the visit of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to India in July 2007.
