Indian Air Force Jet Crashes in Rajasthan

New Delhi (TDI): An Indian Air Force Jaguar jet crashed on Wednesday near a village in Churu district, Rajasthan.

The plane came down in a field, according to police at the scene.

Rajaldesar SHO Kamlesh told reporters that human remains were found near the debris.

It’s still unclear if both pilots survived. The jet had taken off from Suratgarh airbase.

Local officials gave conflicting times for the crash. Some reports say it happened around 12:30pm, others closer to 1:25pm.
