Inauguration of new projects in Gwadar

Gwadar: July 6, 2021-(TDI):  Prime Minister of Pakistan  Imran Khan was on an official one-day tour to Gwadar on Monday. The tour was historic as PM signed two MOUs and inaugurated many new development projects in the city.

PM Imran Khan along with federal ministers, Minister of Balochistan, chairman Senate and CPEC, and ambassador Nong Rong laid down the foundation of many new projects.

The biggest development in Gwadar is the inauguration of the first phase of the Gwadar free zone and the groundbreaking of phase 2 of the Gwadar free zone. Along with this PM Khan also inaugurated the construction of several other mega projects including the construction of Gwadar expo center, Gwadar fertilizer plant, animal vaccine plant, Henan Agricultural Industrial Park, and a lubricant factory.

Imran Khan also witnessed the signing of two MOU’s with China. The MOU’s were signed by CPEC chairman Asim Bajwa and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Nong Rong. The MOU aims at resolving the water and electricity issues in Balochistan by constructing one mega water purification plant and a Facility of Solar generators in the city.

The visit of Khan brought Gwadar one step closer to development as many new projects were started which will bring prosperity and development to the entire region.
