Beijing, 2 September 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan delivered a speech at the Forum on the 20th Anniversary of Juncao Assistance, Sustainable Development Cooperation. The event took place in Beijing which was hosted by the China International Development Cooperation Agency and the People’s Government of Fujian Province.
During the speech, the Prime Minister assured Pakistan’s cooperation with the international community in poverty elimination, sustainable development, and managing climate change.
Imran Khan congratulated Beijing for promoting the invention and also praised the inventor of the technology, Professor Lin Zhanxi of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
While calling the Juncao technology beneficial for mankind, Imran Khan said that it has brought advantages to people all over the region.
The Juncao technology invention has won various prizes, such as the Geneva State Prize during the 20th International Invention Exhibition. Later, in 1994, it secured the position of China’s top project for partnering with the developing states by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
