High-level Belarus Delegation Reaches Islamabad

 Islamabad (TDI): A high-level 68-member delegation from Belarus has arrived in Islamabad, state-run *APP* reported on Sunday.

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the delegation at the Nur Khan Airbase.

Apart from the Belarus’ Foreign Minister, Minister for Energy, Minister for Justice, Minister for Transport, Minister for Natural Resources, Minister for Emergency Situations, and Chairman of the Military Industry Committee, 43 prominent business personalities from Belarus are also part of the delegation.

“The government and people of Pakistan warmly are eagerly awaiting the visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko,” Naqvi told Belarus’ FM Maxim Ryzhenkov during a meeting.

He added that the president’s visit is crucial in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Naqvi further stated that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Belarus and aims to enhance cooperation in various sectors.

He highlighted that the said visit will further promote cooperation between the two countries in industry, trade, and other sectors.

The arrival of the delegation will follow Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s two-day state visit to Pakistan from November 25 to 27.

During his two-day visit, President Lukashenko will hold meetings with the political and military leadership of the country.
