High Commissioner of Maldives met the President of BGMEA


Dhaka: June 21, 2021 – (TDI):  The High Commissioner of Maldives, Shiruzimath Sameer met the President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Faruque Hassan. The association contributes significantly to the earning sector of foreign trades. In the meeting, they talked about encouraging bilateral economic collaboration between both nations.

BGMEA is one of the largest trading associations leading from the front for Bangladesh to reach the global markets, especially in the apparel and textile manufacturing sectors. Established in 1983, BGMEA is now considered the backbone of Bangladesh’s economy.
