Baghdad, 22 October 2021 (TDI): The Deputy Head of the Legal Department of Iraq, Bilal Mahmoud Attia, met the Deputy head of the Korean mission, Jong-Il Han. The meeting took place in Baghdad on Thursday, 21 October 2021. The discussion touched on the scenarios of the countries’ visas for holders and diplomatic missions.
In previous meetings, Korean Former Minister Kang said that his country would continue to provide humanitarian assistance to join the international community’s efforts to help Iraq restore stability as soon as possible. From his part, Former Iraqi Foreign Minister Al-Hakim took note of the Korean government’s leading efforts to make progress in inter-Korean relations and said that his country would continue to support them.
Under these principles, relations between the countries have been strengthened. Today’s agreement had a positive response from both parties on entry visas. The meeting continued while Iraq-Korea cooperation was discussed.
The Deputy head of Iraq wished good luck to the Korean official for future projects and work. The leaders of the countries promised each other to work cooperatively for the future of their nations.
