Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs visited Albania

Tirana, 26 October 2021 (TDI): Albania warmly received its neighbor and ally economic partner Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Greece.

The Significant visit was held in the last week of October 2021. Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka warmly received and welcomed Greece DMoFA. He was on an official visit to Albania.

The purpose of the meeting was to boost economic cooperation and to strengthen the bilateral economic ties between two neighboring countries.

Both neighboring countries agreed to boost the bilateral economic ties and mutual cooperation. Both sides are agreed to look forward and work closely to strengthen the bilateral relationships.

Greece and Albania enjoy very strong bilateral relationships and the modern diplomatic relations between the two partner countries were established in 1971 and today are regarded as positive.

Greece is amongst the largest and leading foreign investor and trading partners and amongst the largest donors as well as the leading donor of the national theater of Albania. In this context, the visit of the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs is pivotal for Albania and Greece.
