Government Cuts Fuel Prices

Islamabad (TDI): A huge drop in the fuel prices for the next two weeks has relieved the masses affected by inflation, according to the government’s announcement on Sunday.

The Finance Ministry has released a notification stating that there has been a reduction of Rs.10 per liter for petrol and Rs.13.6 per liter for high-speed diesel (HSD).

Government Declares Cuts to Fuel Prices Nationwide

The revised pricing for high-speed diesel is Rs249.69 per liter, while the price of petrol is now Rs249.10 per liter.

Also, the government declared a drop in the price of kerosene oil, which will now only cost Rs158.47 per liter instead of Rs11.15.

The cuts in fuel prices will take effect in the coming two weeks, giving consumers some short-term relief while fuel prices around the world fluctuate.
